What is the Cloud & Cybersecurity Voucher?

The Cloud & Cybersecurity Voucher is an initiative promoted by MIMIT to support investments by SMEs and self-employed professionals in cloud technologies and cybersecurity solutions.

The measure has a total budget of €150 million and provides for a non-repayable grant equal to 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of €20,000 per beneficiary.

The grant covers 50% of the expenses considered eligible under the project.

Minimum investment €4,000

To qualify for the incentive, the expenditure plan must have a minimum value of 4,000 euros.

Maximum grant of €20,000

The maximum contribution is €20,000 per beneficiary.. To obtain the maximum amount, it is necessary to submit an eligible expenditure plan of at least 40.000€.

Minimum required connectivity: 30 Mbps

Who can apply for the voucher

SMEs
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises—that is, businesses with fewer than 250 employees and an annual turnover not exceeding €50 million—are eligible to apply.

Self-employed workers
The voucher is also available to self-employed workers operating within the national territory.

Freelancers and self-employed professionals
Freelancers and self-employed professionals can also access the measure, without necessarily having to be incorporated as a company.

How the process with EIS works

1. Verification of requirements

The client verifies the eligibility requirements for the measure with their accountant or consultant and handles the necessary administrative procedures.

2. Analysis of the existing infrastructure

EIS analyzes existing technologies and identifies areas for improvement.

3. Definition of the technological project

The most suitable Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networking, and Collaboration solutions are identified.

4. Preparation of the proposal

EIS prepares the proposal by distinguishing between products, services, subscriptions, and any professional services.

5. Submission of the application

The application is submitted by the client or the appointed party in accordance with the procedures established by MIMIT.

Applications for financial assistance may be submitted starting from this date.

The procedure is an evaluative, rolling-application process. and follows the chronological order of submission. For this reason, it is advisable to arrive at opening time with the project and documentation already prepared.

Scheduled closing

January 20, 2027, at 12:00 PM, subject to the early exhaustion of available resources.

It may be possible, subject to compliance with applicable regulations, established limits, and the *de minimis* regime. This must be verified on a case-by-case basis with your accountant or advisor.

MIMIT verifies the completeness of the documentation, fulfillment of the requirements, the eligibility of the plan, and the correct qualification of the supplier. Submission of the application does not automatically entail the granting of the subsidy.

Yes, the solutions can be acquired through direct purchase, subscription, or a combination of the two methods.

For direct purchases, the expenditure period must not exceed 12 months from the notification of the grant award. For subscriptions, the contract must have a minimum duration of 24 months; if the duration is longer, only the first 24 months are eligible for the subsidy.

The beneficiary remains responsible for verifying eligibility requirements, *de ​​minimis* status, and any other incentives, as well as for preparing declarations, submitting the application, handling administrative tasks, and managing reporting. EIS handles the technological aspects of the offering, including installation, supply, and maintenance.
